Let's introduce you to the team
Travelling Light is a project hosted by Hope Valley Climate Action. The friendly and dedicated Travelling Light team is lead by Marianne Quick, and Trish Maunder is co-ordinating the community engagement in her role as Community Projects Officer.
There's also Megan Carroll (Communications Officer), Jon Benson (Administrator and Organiser) and a group of volunteers working on different specialist projects such as walking, cycling and buses.

Trish Maunder
Community Projects Officer
I work part time for Hope Valley Climate Action to deliver projects alongside the community. I'm also studying part-time for an MSc in Social Justice and Community Action.
I'm responsible for creating the online and in person space for communities to get involved in Travelling Light, facilitating conversations within and between communities, and ensuring that everyone's voices are heard during the process.

Commonplace connects you to the people who create the places where you live, work and play. A platform to speak and be heard by developers, councils, and public bodies to initiate better decisions and places for all.
